Lamp Shade Tips
When choosing a shade you have to take into account where it will be placed. If a lamp is placed above eye level, on a shelf for example, then you will want to choose a shade with long sides so that the bulb and harp will not be visible. If a shade is to be situated on a low coffee or accent table then you can select a shorter, wider shade. Choose shades lighter in color for dark corners so that more light can come through the material.
