Lamp Shade Tips
We recommend choosing a lamp shade that mimics the basic shape of the lamp base. If you have a square or rectangular base, go with that shape on top for a shade. For curved or urn-shaped lamp bases, use a curved shade; for lamps with hard, straight edges, go with a shade with straight lines and edges.
